Clubs & Activities
Math Wings
Fourth and fifth graders have an opportunity to participate in Math Wings. The purpose of this club is to provide the opportunity for all students to learn important content and skills beyond what is provided in the classroom, and to promote the mindset that all children can learn math. This club seeks to enrich the learning for motivated, high-achieving math students and encourage all students to see that they, too, can be high-achieving math students. Our Math Wings club competes in teams of two to three students in three regional competitions, and can qualify to compete with schools across the district.
Running Club
Running Club provides second through fifth graders an opportunity to get moving after school. We want to promote a healthy lifestyle. In October, we run in the Jared Coones' Pumpkin Run.
Student Council
Student Council is comprised of students in kindergarten though fifth grade. They perform tasks within the school such as recycling, morning announcements, watering plants and cleaning up the playground as needed. STUCO members also escort guests around the school as needed.
